When Someone Intends to Harm You

I have taken several angles on this notion of people who intend to harm us.  I remind everyone again of the quote: "You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good".  I also would like to share that there will be people who want to harm you and do so for many reasons: self-loathing, jealousy, racism, hatred, resentments, revenge and much more.  The fact is that there are going to be haters as the song by Taylor Swift says.  "The haters are going to hate, hate, hate, hate and the players are going to play, play, play, play, shake it off".  As I sit here this night listening to Beyonce sing "Precious Lord" I can feel the power of letting the things others do to us roll off of us.  With that kind of faith in God we can do just that.  We can let go of the hatred and the jealousy that is intended to hurt us because we know God's intention for us, a precious journey.

Then John Legend sings a song for God and spirit and again it is proof to us who believe that there is no longer a fear by others to say that they believe in God and that the people who intend to harm us cannot penetrate that kind of power and light.  No one can hurt us when we walk in God's path and we are not ashamed to say that we believe in him.  Even people who are famous are not afraid to profess their love for God and that there is a higher self we can believe in and are protected by.  Juan Luis Guerra has an entire album called "Christian Songs"  It is a new day in this world for those of us who believe and those of us who sing and celebrate God.  Nothing can be done to us that we cannot survive with God's beautiful, compassionate hand on us and for us.

I remind everyone once more that I have gone through the fire and I can see the light.  I want to remind little Elliott that he is safe and that he can feel safe at all times with his guidance.  Even singer Sam Smith stated on stage: "Thank you to the man who broke my heart.  You made it possible for me to win four awards".  I was elated to hear him say that because like him I have been inspired by a person who hurt me over and over again.  I am awaiting that day when I am even more whole than I have ever imagined to be because I survived the pain, the bad intentions and the hatred and racism thrust onto me.  I am sure that God surrounds me whenever someone intends to hurt me god intends it all for my good.  Amen

Your Skirt Is Over Your Head

I am uncertain as to how many of my readers know what I mean about putting your skirt over your head.  All I know is that my sister once said it and I think I heard it in a movie once.  I do know that in the movie "Mermaids" Cher who played the mom had some great lines about being a woman and just having a good time with life.  In one of those what should be famous lines Cher's daughter played by Winnona Ryder says: "Don't you think yoiiu are too old for that dress?"to which Cher responds with: "Don't be silly Charlotte, a woman is never too old".  In another part there is a stunning young man waiting on their porch to welcome them to the country area where they moved and upon setting eyes on him Winnona Ryder who is Charlotte is mezmerized by him.  Cher suddenly turns around and says: "too bad your hell bent on becoming a nun".  To say that Cher truly pulls the dress over her head is really minimizing her role in this movie that I wo...
