Today Is the Day

Today I want to start out by thinking that today is the day.  Today is the day that I do everything on my list and find all the joy in life that there is to be had.  Today is the day that I will find my karma and simply flow through this day.  It is with this intent that I want to live this day.  Enjoying every moment and doing the things that I enjoy doing.  Today is the day that I will take and use up fully and completely.

Like many of you I have had days where I am numb and absent of feelings.  Like others I struggle to have a good day or to make the day unfold in a way that is positive and loving.  I want it to be different but it seems like life is out of my hands and I have no control of it, no control of anything in fact at all.  That is when I have to surrender and take the time to sit still and do nothing.  Those are the times when I have to say today is the day and it will be what it is.  I allow my goddess energy to take over and mold the day for me as I go along.

Today can be your day.  Today could be the day that you got up in a bad or good mood but it does not matter which if you just decide that today is your day and that you will follow the energetic lead of your source of power and your source of love.  Say: Today is my day and I will follow my source to a place of joy.  When you forget repeat that statement again to remind yourself that today is an important day and that it is yours to use as you deem it.  If you don't know what you will do with this day then ask to be guided.  Let your higher being come forth and decide for you.

Today may be a day to serve.  Look out for ways to serve and share your wisdom or your thoughts.  This day may be one for working on your physical being and so you might take a walk or a bike ride. Today is your day whether you think it or not.  Every day is a chance to receive and to give.  Think about giving today and making it a day of serving others or think stop and think about what it is that you need right now and do it.  The trick is not to be in a rush.  Take your time thinking about what you will do with this wonderful gift of today.  And remember today is your day.

A Seasoned Vs Old Person

Those of you who know me personally might be aware that I don't use the word "old".  I don't think that people should be referred to with a word like old and I believe that as we live longer lives we are wiser and that we can be looked upon as "seasoned".  For me the word seasoned means that we have lived a good life and that we have gone from one season to another experiencing life and the many ups and downs of it.  I don't see the word old as one that honors any human being for their acquisition of wisdom and the things they have been able to overcome.  I for one consider myself a seasoned man not an "old man". Is Love An Illusion

Perhaps because I have only been in love once I should not have an opinion about love.  Still I see love so many times as some illusion, some stuff people make up, even in bad situations.  We often times make love into something that fits in our own imagination as love and if it is not really love we make it seem like it it by lying about it and fantasizing about what it is not.  Love is often an illusion and for some so elusive that it is a serious problem. The woman whose husband bullies her and says sarcastic things about her wants to believe that her husband loves her and that he is just not well, poor thing.  She makes excuses for him and for his bad behavior.  There are many people in what is an illusion of a partnership when in fact they are not in one.  On the contrary they are in peril.  They believe they will somehow resolve the issues that will always be present in their relationship and the truth is that it is not going to get any better....
