How to Get What You Want and Deserve 2
It is no secret that we all want what we deserve and we all think we deserve what we want. Unfortunately this is not always how things work out, getting what we deserve. We get what we deserve by asking for it and assuming we will get it. We get what we deserve by behaving in ways as though we already have it. Getting what we deserve is easy once we know what it is that we want and what we truly believe in.
I like to think that I got what I deserved today because almost a year after being abandoned I am still living in a beautiful home with a small lake in my back yard. I got what I deserved because I decided not to become intimidated by some bully and run and hide somewhere else other than my own home. We get what we deserve when we fight for it and we know we are worthy of it even if others don't think so and even when others have convinced themselves that you don't deserve anything. The beauty of it is that no one gets to decide what you deserve except you.
Some of us attempt to get what we think we deserve by force. There is no reason to force it but rather to know it. To know who you are and all that you have is yours because it is. No one knows better what you deserve than you. Hence the importance of knowing what you truly deserve in life. When someone tries to tell us what we deserve they are simply projecting what their own fears are in their own life. When someone tries to take away or minimize what we deserve they are simply acting in a way that threatens their paradigm, what they have been made to believe. It means nothing to you and you should ignore it completely.
We get what we deserve by asking for it but more importantly by going after it. We are sure of what we deserve and we go in the direction of knowing we will get it. If it is a home we place all our belief and faith in that truth, even if the facts say that we cannot afford it or we won't be able to get it. Live your life as though you deserve to live it. Be in your happiness as though you deserve to have it, you deserve to be happy. Dance the dance of joy as if you are familiar with it and nothing else matters. Shine like you know you are shiny and bright. Light up the night with your brand of sunshine. Take what you deserve without apologizing for it.
Here is your homework:
Make a list of the things that you deserve and want. Take a look at your list and decide which item you will have first or which feeling you will receive first. It does not have to be an item but rather a feeling like: elation, joy, compassion. You deserve compassion. You deserve a new car. You deserve whatever you think you deserve. Although there may be others who will tell you that you are being pompous or conceited about getting what you want don't pay any attention to them. Go on about the business of getting what you deserve and want out of life, whatever that is. Take it one thing at a time an one item at a time.
